"So what are they made of?"

Whether you are visiting our new Christian Blake showroom or we're chatting in your existing kitchen, this is always one of the first questions I'm asked.

The answer is straightforward - we use sustainably produced timber throughout.

When we design and make your kitchen, we give you a wide range of sustainable hardwoods and veneers to choose from - including Oak, Beech, Maple, Walnut and Cherry.

All of our doors and cabinets use solid timber, whilst the internal 'carcasses' (the bits you can't see) are also hand-made in our workshop.

As you can see from the drawers, all the joints are perfectly dove-tailed - providing strength & longevity - but also proof that your kitchen has been made by hand.

Yes it takes time (and a fair amount of experience) to get the best from timber, but as my customers constantly tell me, the results are well worth it.

Nothing comes close to using real timber - with a feel, scent and grain that demonstrate the integrity of your new kitchen.
